From the treasurer: If you are a UK tax payer, then giving by Gift Aid allows SABC to claim an additional 25p from the HMRC for every £1 you donate. Last year, Gift Aid additional claims made up approximately 15% of StABC’s income. If you are a higher rate taxpayer then you will also be able to reclaim income tax personally on your gift. The process is very easy and you do not have to decide in advance how much you want to give. For more information, please contact Matt or speak to a Deacon who can arrange a form for you.

Sunday: Give thanks for the last Church Meeting, the decisions that were made and those who joined the church as members. Pray that the Lord continues to direct and guide as we journey together as one body, that our church makes sense of the Gospel for those we come into contact with.

Monday: Give thanks for the new faces that come through our church doors every Sunday. Pray that we may continue to be a welcoming church and that people feel like it is their home.

Tuesday:Give thanks for the appointment of the new First Minister and pray for him and the candidates who were not elected. Keep making intercessions for “all those in authority,” especially our Christian sisters/brothers in Christ who are serving (or seeking to serve) and bless the wider society through participation in politics.

Wednesday: Pray for all the services during the Holy Week, Easter Sunday and beyond. Pray for the strengthening of our faith and the increase in people coming to know Jesus in our church family, our town and across our land.

Thursday: Pray for Bill Coppedge and family – for their safe travels as they join us next month to hold the Bible Storytelling training. Pray that we may learn and be inspired by this training.

Friday: Pray for our neighbouring Baptist churches (Cupar Baptist Church and Coastline Community Church) as each starts a new chapter of ministry. Pray for guidance, direction and wisdom.

Saturday: Pray for a New Expression of Church. In particular, pray for the birth of prophetic imagination among us and the rising up of the key (young) leaders and courageous members to take risks for the kingdom.
