Weekly Bulletin – 7 July 2024

10am: Abi Ngunga will be preaching on “Written for our hope: Introduction” based on Romans 15:4 and Genesis 12:1-9.
6:30pm: Paulus de Jong will be preaching on “Puzzling Prophets: Elijah and the drought” based on 1 Kings 17.
Rooted and Impact have finished for this term. Rachel is organising some youth gatherings throughout the summer, contact for more information!

Prayer Meeting:

Tyler Hoagland will be preaching on “God’s pledged promises” based on Genesis 15.
6:30pm: Abi Ngunga will be preaching on “Elijah and the fire” based on 1 Kings 18. This service will include Communion.

Shipwrecked! Holiday Club: Volunteers needed! Our upcoming holiday club takes place at Canongate Primary School playing fields, mornings of Monday 12th August through Friday 16th August. If you like to work with primary school aged children and would like to join us in this week full of adventure, please contact Tiny. (

Transport Ministry: If you are struggling to get to church, or to healthcare appointments, email, and we will do our best to help.

Sunday: Give thanks to God for all His goodness to us and all His work among us and through His church. Pray for the growth of the church both numerically and in-depth of discipleship, for God wants His church to grow.
Monday: Give thanks to God for the recent peaceful UK general election. Pray for peace and healing for those who have lost. Pray for good governance from those who have been elected. Pray that the government will be just and compassionate and that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
Tuesday: Give thanks to God for all the youth camps (with Mihai in Romania and Young Life) that have taken place and pray for those still yet to take place. Pray for God to continue working in the lives of those who have been exposed to the Good News and those yet to be exposed to it.
Wednesday: Pray for the safety and success of the Shipwrecked Holiday Club (Monday 12 to Friday 16 August) taking place at Canongate Primary School playing fields here in St Andrews.
Thursday: Pray for healing, strength, and sufficient/sustaining grace for those who are struggling with health issues. Pray too for patience and strength for those who are lovingly caring for them.
Friday: Pray for peace, justice, and stability in countries from where people flee, so that fewer people are forced to leave their homes and seek shelter.
Saturday: Pray for the Lord to return – with just one word: MARANATHA!

The morning service starts at 10AM, in-person & online, & includes crèche & Beacons Kids’ provision. The evening service starts at 6:30PM.
