Pilgrim Care Health walks recognised in Scottish parliament. Willie Rennie, MSP for North east Fife, lodged a motion in the Scottish Parliament recognising the work of Pilgrim Care St Andrews. He congratulated them on receiving Dementia Friendly Walking accreditation from Scotland’s walking charity, Paths for All. Regular community health walks take place twice weekly in St. Andrews, tailored to the participants’ abilities & level of engagement. Volunteers are trained in helping those with anxiety following the isolation of the pandemic, & those with dementia. One to one support is available. As well as the benefits of gentle exercise, the social aspect is very important & appreciated by those in our community who may be elderly & lonely. Any members of our fellowship who would like to join in are very welcome. Please contact Celia Sprot for further information. Thank you to all Pilgrim Care’s supporters & volunteers who help to make this happen.

The church newsletter for August to September 2022 is now available.
