Ukrainian family (a mother, a son studying in S5, & a dog) is looking for a new host registered with “Homes for Ukraine” scheme, due to the change of circumstances of their previous host, with whom they’ve stayed since May 2022. Contact details of their previous host are available for reference. For further details, please contact Olexandr Konovalov at

Exam Prayer Timetables: one of the ways we love to support the students in our church is in prayer as they sit their examinations each term! If you would like to be prayed for, please email with the dates & subjects of your final exams & assignments & we will add you to the calendar. Last year the document was viewed more than 150 times—that’s a lot of prayer!

Energy bill discount: Over the winter many of us will receive a discount from the government to our energy bills. Some of us will need this help, & should accept it gratefully. Others may be able to afford the increased bills. In order to support those in our community facing hardship this winter, the church leadership would like to encourage those who do not need the discount to donate this amount to the Hardship Fund. If you feel called to support this ministry then please make a designated offering by the Offering Box or bank transfer, or speak to Matt (

Prayers for the week:

Today: Give thanks to the Lord for the good outreach evening last week through the Curry & Quiz night; for those who graduated; & for the good annual church meeting we had on Wednesday; for those 7 new members who joined the church; & the deacons/elders who were (re)elected to serve the Lord through His church.

Monday: Please continue to pray for those who were invited & attended the Curry & Quiz night. Pray that the message they heard & the conversations that they had will bear fruit.

Tuesday: Pray for our Mission partners, especially Judy & Iska today. Give thanks that the whole NT (in text & audio formats) is now published digitally in an App. Pray for insight, creativity & concentration as we continue translating Psalms. They are currently on Psalm 90, aiming to get to 100 by January.

Wednesday: Join Anna Tarcza in giving thanks to the Lord that many people have gotten to hear the word of God for the first time because of our support to her, which she described as us “sowing into their growth, & the spread of God’s word in Australia & from there to the world”.

Thursday: Give thanks to God that there is now opportunity to resume services in Balnacarron. Pray for all the carers/staff & those they provide care to.

Friday: Pray for Lauren & Sam as they settle in Jerusalem, finding a church where they can serve & be ministered to.

Saturday: Pray for our Carol Singing in Town today at 2-3PM. Pray for the Lord to reach out to folks who will listen to the carols. Pray for good conversations as we chat &/or hand Christmas bags to folks.
