PRAYER ITEMS FOR DECEMBER:
Sunday: Please continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, hope and security for the entire region of the Middle-East. Pray that the Lord Jesus Christ be known by the Israelis and Palestinians so they can experience lives lived with one another in peace and freedom.
Monday: Give thanks to God for all the hostages (Israelis, Palestinians and others) who have been released and pray for healing from trauma. Pray for the release of the remaining hostages, and for the mediators and peace-makers.
Tuesday: Please continue to pray for peace between Ukraine and Russia.
Wednesday: Pray for God to comfort those who are (and will be) mourning the loss of their loved ones. This is even more difficult in the midst of the Christmas celebrations.
Thursday: Pray for those who were alone over Christmas, as well as those who were in hospital, and those who were working to provide the necessary care needed for such people.
Friday: Pray for teachers in our church and our communities, for strength, protection, and wisdom, especially in the busyness of Christmas, as well as rest over the Christmas break.
Saturday: Pray that we be filled with God’s love, peace, light, joy, and hope as we celebrate Christmas and minister to others in various ways.
