Children, Youth and Families Worker update: We wanted to write to share some encouraging news. As of Thursday morning, the pledges for the Children, Youth, and Families Worker post had reached 105% of its goal of £30,000 per annum for the next two years. This means that the financial commitment needed to move forward with advertising for this post has been met.

We give thanks to the Lord for His provision! It is a real encouragement to see the generosity and shared vision across the church.
As was outlined in the recent QCM papers, while additional pledged support of £30,000 per annum has enabled us to confidently proceed with advertising this post, the overall cost of the role is expected to be just around £41,000 per annum. With that in mind, there is still opportunity for those who feel led to give or continue pledging, helping to support and sustain the ministry more fully over time. Those pledges can be made on our website, or by contacting our treasurer at treasurer@standrewsbaptist.org.uk.
We will now move into the next stage and begin advertising the post. We will keep you informed as the process develops and as we move toward appointment for this role. Please join with us in continued prayer that the Lord will bring the right person to us to begin this work.

Alpha Course 2026 – 19 February to 7 May 2026: We are delighted to be partnering with Kingdom Vineyard for this year’s Alpha Course. Christian Aid Week 10-16 May 2026: For one week every year thousands of people across Britain give, fundraise, pray and act together to stand alongside people living in poverty around the world. This year we are looking for volunteers to help deliver (and in some cases collect) envelopes in St Andrews as part of the fund-raising efforts for Christian Aid week. Last year the total raised was £7,930!
Can you help us please? The deliveries range from between 40-60 envelopes so shouldn’t take you too long! Great exercise, great opportunity to talk about Christian Aid and gets our faith on our streets! If you can help, or would like more information, please see Mark or Caroline Rochford or email them on micah@standrewsbaptist.org.uk or markyncaro@hotmail.com.
