Extraordinary Church Meeting: We wish to call an Extraordinary Church Meeting on 20 August at 7:30pm in the Room Downstairs to hear a proposal from the leadership team (elders and deacons) to address staffing following recent changes. A document will be circulated in advance of the meeting so that everyone will have opportunity to think and pray, ask questions and comment even if they are unable to attend on the evening of the meeting.

Every summer the churches in St Andrews come together to hold a Holiday Club. This is always a lot of fun involving bible stories, songs, games, crafts and challenges. This year’s holiday club will run in the mornings from Tuesday 12th until Friday 15th August. If you would be interested in volunteering or would like more information please speak to Jenny or email jenny@standrewsbaptist.org.uk.

YoungLives Take on the Kilt Walk: YoungLives, part of the YoungLife International registered Christian charity, has been deeply connected to the Ross family for the past 14 years. Annelie Uwimana, our elder daughter, coordinates this wonderful ministry to teen mums and their babies in Tayside. As part of their fundraising, nine young mums and three leaders are taking on the challenge of the 20-mile Kilt Walk from St Andrews to Dundee on 17 August. To read more of their story and to give a donation if you are able please follow this link: https://www.justgiving.com/team/younglives-scotland

Families First, St Andrews, would love to hear from you if you’re interested in volunteering with them. They are a local charity working with children, young people and their families across NE Fife who are facing various challenges. They are currently looking for people interested in supporting parents/carers or providing transport for service users (or both!). To find out more get in touch with FFSA directly: vc@familiesfirststandrews.org.uk
