Transport Ministry: If you are struggling to get to church, or to healthcare appointments, email transport@standrewsbaptist.org.uk or leave a message on 07388 616629. The coordinator will get in touch with you, and we will do our best to help you where we can.
The tech team is looking for volunteers to help out with Sunday morning and evening services. Training is given, and prior experience with audio/visual or live streaming work is not required. This ministry is a wonderful way to serve our church while still being able to be present in the services themselves! Please speak to Clayton or contact tech@standrewsbaptist.org.uk.
Save the date and pray for sunshine! 🙏 ☀️ We are planning another whole church picnic for Sunday 10 May. Details to follow, but please put the date in your diary!
Children, Youth and Families Worker update: We are inviting pledges to support the Children, Youth and Families Worker role approved at the March Quarterly Church Meeting.
So far, an additional £7,890 per year has been pledged or raised— 26% of our £30,000 goal. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed.
If you would like to support this, you can:
Make a pledge online at standrewsbaptist.org.uk/pledge
Speak to a member of the leadership or staff team to request a paper form (these can be returned in the offering bag or box on a Sunday).
If you would prefer to increase your giving straight away rather than make a pledge, you can set up or increase a monthly standing order starting in April. Please let the treasurer know (treasurer@standrewsbaptist.org.uk, or in person).
Alpha Course 2026 – 19 February to 7 May 2026: We are delighted to be partnering with Kingdom Vineyard for this year’s Alpha Course. It will run for 12 weeks, and include a meal beforehand, on a Thursday evening 7:30-9:30pm, at SABC. Please be praying for people you can invite! To register please use the following QR code. We also need those who can help with meals (if you can help please use this link for further information: https://forms.gle/NBSK2BwKNJpsWT8n9). For any other information please see Philippa Cook or email: philippa@standrewsbaptist.org.uk
Bikes Needed Please: Have you or your family got any bikes, in reasonable condition, that are no longer used, or outgrown or surplus to requirements? If so, Bikes for Refugees Scotland [‘BfR’], a registered charity, would be delighted if you considered donating them, to be distributed to Refugees/ Asylum seekers in Scotland. The charity currently has premises in Edinburgh and Glasgow, where bikes can be stored, renovated if necessary, and distributed to “New Scots” who most need them. Further information is available in on the charity’s website www.bikesforrefugees.scot If you do wish to donate a bike or bikes, please contact Dave Angus, who will collect it/them and will arrange delivery to BfR’s workshop in Edinburgh. Thank you.

Sunday: Giving thanks for the power of the Gospel. Thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ that all over the world the gospel of Jesus Christ is bearing fruit and growing.
Monday: Praying for the growth of the church in our town, its surrounding areas, and in our nation. Pray for a growing passion for Jesus that the church be not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation of everyone who believes.
Tuesday: Praying for the impact of the global church. Pray for this impact to be seen in big and small churches; in church in the cities and church in rural areas, in the most affluent places as well as in the most deprived places, and in all places and mostly in war/conflict-torn places.
Wednesday: Praying for the persecuted global church. Pray for the victory of the Lord Jesus in Muslim majority countries.
Thursday: Praying for hope for the global church. Pray that the name of Jesus Christ be lifted up as the sole living hope in a hopeless and helpless world.
Friday: Praying for Biblical faithfulness within the global church. Pray for the church to remain faithful in proclaiming what people need to hear and not what they want to hear.
Saturday: Praying for the Gospel-centred global church. Pray that the gospel be spoken and lived out all over the world, and that the Lord will raise up more and more true evangelists.
