This is an opportunity to think, chat, and learn together about mental health in the context of Christian faith. Transport Ministry: If you are struggling to get to church, or to healthcare appointments, email, and we will do our best to help.

Our church vision focus for 2024 is ‘Growing in and by the word of God’. A further help that some may not be aware of is a series of weekly questions from the Sunday morning sermon. Some of the home groups use these in their gatherings. If you would find this a helpful resource for your personal study, please contact Angus at and he will add your name to the list of recipients.

We have an opportunity this summer of partnering with Mihai in Romania and our friends at ISF (International Sports Federation) to help run a children’s multi-sport camp, with opportunities for bible teaching. We anticipate there being between 100-125 children from Calarasi. The dates are 22nd-30th June. No specific sporting skills are required just enthusiasm and a desire to introduce children to Jesus. If you are interested in helping, please contact Peter or Philippa Cook in person or via email.

Exam Prayer: We love to support students in prayer as they sit their exams! If you would like the church to pray for you, email Ethan and Tamara at with the dates and subjects of your exams and final assignments and we will add you to the list!

Christian Aid Week May 12-18: Any volunteers to help with house to house collection that week in May? You are really needed! Please either speak to one of the Micah team or email

Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church will have a focus on Caring for Creation on Rogation Sunday, which is traditionally associated with the blessing of the sowing season. We have a warm invitation from their Eco-group to join them afterwards: Sunday 5th May at 1pm. Bring your own picnic lunch to Boarhills village hall. Followed by a guided walk to Burnside Farm, the bluebell woods along the burn and on to the Coastal Path. We are urged to either car share, park in the village, or to take the No. 95 bus from Church Street at 12:38.

Sunday: Give thanks to God for all the events that took place around Easter. Pray for an awakening or strengthening in those who heard the Easter story and the truth of its transformative power.
Monday: Continue praying for countries in conflicts and wars (Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Gaza, Haiti, Yemen, DRCongo, Rwanda, etc.) and countries affected by natural disasters (Taiwan). Pray for an end to hostilities and pray for God to reveal Himself to those affected.
Tuesday: Pray for our church vision; for reaching out to St Andrews and the neighbouring towns/villages. Pray for open doors and guidance as we listen and seek to implement God’s direction by His Spirit.
Wednesday: Pray for those who have recently been baptised; for protection against the schemes of the enemy and that they may continue to grow in Christlikeness. Pray for more people to encounter Jesus and give their lives to him and come forward for baptism.
Thursday: Give thanks to God for the church ministry in Balnacarron Care Home. Pray for folks living there and in other care homes, for their families, carers, and staff. Pray for strength for those who are becoming frail among us.
Friday: Pray for the students among us as they face deadlines, exams, and those leaving soon. Pray that they may know the Lord’s abiding presence and guidance.
Saturday: Pray for the Summer camp in Romania with Mihai and ISF, as well as the forthcoming Young Life Summer Slam in Tayport.
