Every summer the churches in St Andrews come together to hold a Holiday Club. This is always a lot of fun involving bible stories, songs, games, crafts and challenges. This year’s holiday club will run in the mornings from Tuesday 12th until Friday 15th August. If you would be interested in volunteering or would like more information please speak to Jenny or email jenny@standrewsbaptist.org.uk.

YoungLives Take on the Kilt Walk: YoungLives, part of the YoungLife International registered Christian charity, has been deeply connected to the Ross family for the past 14 years. Annelie Uwimana, our elder daughter, coordinates this wonderful ministry to teen mums and their babies in Tayside. As part of their fundraising, nine young mums and three leaders are taking on the challenge of the 20-mile Kilt Walk from St Andrews to Dundee on 17 August. To read more of their story and to give a donation if you are able please follow this link: https://www.justgiving.com/team/younglives-scotland

Families First, St Andrews, would love to hear from you if you’re interested in volunteering with them. They are a local charity working with children, young people and their families across NE Fife who are facing various challenges. They are currently looking for people interested in supporting parents/carers or providing transport for service users (or both!). To find out more get in touch with FFSA directly: vc@familiesfirststandrews.org.uk

PRAYER ITEMS FOR JULY:
Each day or each week, read the passage from Matthew 9:35-38 below. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you and then pray as He leads you. Pray as you think about the focus of our church this year – Joining Jesus in His Mission. Call to mind and pray for current events or peoples in our world.

“35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field”.

The morning service starts at 10am, in-person and online, and includes crèche and Beacons Kids’ provision. The evening service starts at 6:30pm.
