This Sunday:

10:00AM: Christ predicted (Luke 24:13-27; Matthew 5:17-18; John 5:39-40, 45-47) including Communion. Paulus de Jong will be preaching.

6:30PM: “Excited about God.” Elizabeth Shively will be preaching.

Tuesday: Alpha Course begins. This course will run for eleven consecutive Tuesdays. The evenings will begin at 18:30 and include amazing food! It will be hosted by one of the families in our church. If you want to come along, or bring someone along, please email:

Annual Church Meeting. In preparation for the Annual Church Meeting on Wednesday 30th November please note the following deacons are retiring: Ken Cochran, Janet Richardson, Chris Walker. The following deacons are due for re-election: Cameron Bathgate, Jacqueline Mercer. Recently co-opted deacons are also eligible for election: Steve Evans, Tony Jeavons. Please send any deacon nominations after seeking agreement from the candidate to Church Secretary by Sunday 13th November 2022. Nomination forms are available at the bottom of the main stair of the church.

Also please note that the following Elders are due and eligible for renomination by the elders and re-election by the church:Tamara Knudson, David Moffitt; Tricia Tooman.

Families First will be celebrating their 21st Anniversary this year! The celebrations begin on the 26 September & run for 2 weeks. In the lead up to their AGM on the 29 September (7-9pm, University of St Andrews School of Medicine) they are looking for 21 people to give them a short statement (& picture if you wish) about the difference Families First made to you, or a special memory you have of them. FF will also be holding their inaugural Friends of Families First meeting on the 05 October (10AM– 12PM, SABC Fellowship Room). They are looking for lots of people to become Friends of Families First to support their work in any way they can. For more info

Prayer items this week:

Today: Give thanks to God for this day and pray for all the services in our church and the churches within our community and the Land that the Gospel may be spoken with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction.
Monday: Give thanks to God for all the new and returning students in our town and all those who have settled in and/or seeking to find a church . Pray that they may have life-changing encounters with the Lord during their time here in the University. 

Tuesday: Pray for all those who are in care homes , their careers and loved ones that the Lord continues to minister to them and strengthen them..

Wednesday: Pray for the Spiritual prosperity of St Andrews and its surrounding communities.

Thursday: Pray for our sister church in Alexandria, Romania that the Lord will continue to use them in spreading the Good News in their God-given communities and that they may continue to be strengthened in all and through all.

Friday: Pray for the Church Away day tomorrow that we may have a meaningful day. 

Saturday: Pray for the people in your street. Ask the Lord to bless them.

To join in church services & prayer meetings by telephone: Dial 0131 460 1196. When prompted for your Meeting ID, enter 726 034 6887 followed by the # key. You will be prompted for a Participant ID; just enter the # key again. When prompted for a password enter 777 followed by the # hash key. You will be connected to the meeting / service. (It is possible you will be given a different Meeting ID by the person arranging the meeting. If so, use the Meeting ID number you are given).

To join in online with video: Go to & follow the instructions given to join Zoom & download the APP(lication).

The morning service starts at 10:00AM, in-person & online, & includes creche & Beacons Kids’ provision. The evening service starts at 6:30PM, in-person & online.
