Elections of Deacons, Elders and Trustees: A huge thank you to all our deacons and elders for their continued dedicated services. In particular, we express our outmost thanks to David Moffitt who is retiring from the eldership after 9 years of service. We also owe our deep gratitude to Tony Jeavons, Steve Evans, and Paul Grinyer who are stepping down from the diaconate and eldership, respectively.
While we are still actively seeking for potential Deacons, Elders and Trustees, we are delighted that the following people are standing for (re)election or confirmation.

As Deacons: David Harrison, David Maggs, Peter Cook, Jennifer Macgregor
As Trustees: Audrey Dryburgh
St Andrews Day Café in The Room Downstairs: Saturday 29 November, 11am-2pm: We are looking for volunteers to help serve tea/coffee and chat with passers-by from the community market being held on South Street, as part of St Andrews Day celebrations. For further information please speak with Ruth Jeavons or Barbara Maggs.
Celtish Christmas Concert: Nigel Cameron and Julie Cameron-Hall are returning once again to play ‘Celtish’ Christmas music with us on Tuesday 2 December at 7:30pm in the church sanctuary. Come along and join us for an evening of carols and Christmas hymns. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
Carol singing in town: Saturday 6 December, 10:50am-12 noon, outside St Andrews Baptist Church. This year we will be singing carols as part of our Farmer’s Market Café! We would love you to join us for an hour to sing carols or hand out Christmas goodie bags and chat with passers-by. For any further information please see or email Philippa Cook (philippa@standrewsbaptist.org.uk)
Kilombero Fair Trade rice will be on sale after church on Sunday 30 November. Each pack costs £2 and that money goes straight to poor farmers in Malawi. As a part of the Rice challenge, each sack of rice pays for one year of secondary education for one child. And it’s great rice! Unfortunately we are still unable to get brown rice, but hopefully we will have it for our next sale. Thank you for your support. The Micah team.
Romanian Summer Camp, 5-12 July 2026: We are looking for volunteers who would like to go with a group from our church, to help Mihai and our American mission partners (International Sports Federation) run a children’s activity camp in Romania, next summer. This is a wonderful opportunity to be involved in short-term mission work. No previous experience required just enthusiasm and a desire to help children have fun and hear about Jesus. For more information please speak to or email Philippa and Peter Cook (philippa@standrewsbaptist.org.uk).
Families First Christmas Appeal: Can you donate a gift to make Christmas special for a child in North East Fife? Please help FFSA make sure that all the children they support have presents to open on Christmas morning, whatever challenges their family is facing. Any contributions of new gifts and toys for children aged 5-16, or gift cards, will be gratefully received! You can also make a financial contribution via the FFSA website (www.familiesfirststandrews.org.uk). Please hand in any donations to their office before 12 December. You can find them at 2 Rose Lane, C/O 132 South Street, St Andrews, KY16 9EW (weekdays 9am–3pm, 01334 208086).
