Alpha 2025! Do you have a friend or family member you would like to introduce to the Christian faith? If so, why not invite them to an Alpha course where they can discuss the big questions of life in an informal and relaxed environment? The course starts on Monday 27th January, 6:30-8:30pm and runs for 8 weeks. Dinner included. For more information please see Philippa or Peter Cook (alpha@standrewsbaptist.org.uk).

Sticky Saints is a new club for primary school aged children every Monday in term time from 3:30-4:30pm and is a space for creativity! All materials provided. Children must attend with an adult, tea/coffee provided. Please book online: https://shorturl.at/xiyUG

Awake Soup: We are looking for a few more people to join our wonderful team of soup chefs for Awake this term! If you would enjoy cooking soup for 25-30 students on a Wednesday once or twice this term, please contact Ethan or Tamara at students@standrewsbaptist.org.uk for more information. Costs for ingredients are covered and we are happy to provide ideas for recipes!

Romania Summer Camp (20-29 June 2025): We are wanting to gauge interest in sending another team to Mihai this summer. This would involve being part of a group delivering multi-sport activities to local children as part of a summer camp. No specialist sporting ability required, just enthusiasm and desire to get alongside children enabling them to have fun and sharing Jesus with them. If interested please see Peter or Philippa Cook (misson@standrewsbaptist.org.uk). Please respond by 3rd March, if interested.

Coastline Community Church (CCC) has a new pastor! Members of the church voted in favour of Dave Smith to become their pastor. Congratulations to Dave! We rejoice with him and all at CCC

PRAYER ITEMS FOR FEBRUARY:
Sunday: Give thanks to the Lord for the church’s vision this year of “Joining Jesus in His Mission”. Pray that we would not only listen to what God says but do what He asks of us.
Monday: Pray for God to fill us with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
Tuesday: Pray for the effectiveness of the various ministries of the church and the numerous volunteers who run them.
Wednesday: Pray that we would be a praying people, a praying church that implores the living God for His intervention to enable spiritually dead people to be reborn.
Thursday: Pray for the unity of the church, that we may be one and for God’s grace to abound in our midst.
Friday: Choose a country represented in our church and pray for it, and the people from that country. Ask the Lord to show you what to pray for.
Saturday: Pray that we may live a life worthy of the Lord, and that we may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.

The morning service starts at 10am, in-person and online, and includes crèche and Beacons Kids’ provision. The evening service starts at 6:30pm.
