Today: Student Welcome Lunches: hosted by church families after the morning service. Find our Student workers, Ethan & Tamara, to link up with a family.

Student Welcome: It’s the time of year again when we welcome new & returning students into our fellowship! If you are willing to host a group of students for lunch in your home on Sunday 18 September, please contact Ethan and Tamara at

Upcoming church lunches: Over the next few weeks we will have the joy of continuing our fellowship & sharing lunch together immediately following the morning service!

The latest sermon leaflet for September to December 2022 is now available.

Accommodation requests: Accommodation is becoming increasingly difficult to secure in town & we have received a number of requests from new students for help finding a room. If you know of a spare room or property available or of anyone looking for a place to live, please email Ethan & Tamara at so we can put people in contact with one another.

Tea & Coffee Rota: Volunteers are still needed to join the team so if interested in this ministry please get in touch with Barbara on 07734429512 or David on 07765238734.

Families First will be celebrating their 21st Anniversary this year! The celebrations begin on the 26 September & run for 2 weeks. In the lead up to their AGM on the 29 September (7-9pm, University of St Andrews School of Medicine) they are looking for 21 people to give them a short statement (& picture if you wish) about the difference Families First made to you, or a special memory you have of them. FF will also be holding their inaugural Friends of Families First meeting on the 05 October (10AM– 12PM, SABC Fellowship Room). They are looking for lots of people to become Friends of Families First to support their work in any way they can. For more info contact officemanager@familiesfirststandrews.or

Prayer items for the week:

Today: Pray for a real hunger and thirst of Gods Word and presence throughout our land

Monday: Give thanks to God for the life and faithful service of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as she is being laid to rest today and pray for the Royal family, in particular King Charles III

Tuesday: Pray for those impacted directly or indirectly by the war in UkraineWednesday: Pray for all those who are settling in to the area whether students or

those who have moved in for work or retirement

Thursday: Pray for the elderly people within our Fellowship as they deal with various issues and face various challenges that come with age.

Friday: Pray for Christians who are suffering persecution because of their faith. Pray for them for strength and endurance.

Saturday: Pray for those impacted by Climate Change and Social Injustice

How to connect to our services:

To join in church services & prayer meetings by telephone: Dial 0131 460 1196. When prompted for your Meeting ID, enter 726 034 6887 followed by the # key. You will be prompted for a Participant ID; just enter the # key again. When prompted for a password enter 777 followed by the # hash key. You will be connected to the meeting / service. (It is possible you will be given a different Meeting ID by the person arranging the meeting. If so, use the Meeting ID number you are given).

To join in online with video: Go to & follow the instructions given to join Zoom & download the APP(lication).

The morning service starts at 10:00AM, in-person & online, & includes creche & Beacons Kids’ provision. The evening service starts at 6:30PM.
