This Sunday:

10AM: “The first martyr” based on Acts 7:1-8:1. Tamara Knudson will be preaching.

6:30PM: Message 4: “Remember the Sabbath day”. This service will be a Praise and Prayer Evening.

The Community Hub Summer Fayre, 23rd July: 10:30AM-2:30PM at the St David’s Centre. Arts and crafts stalls, raffle, tombola, home baking, plant sale, food and refreshments and much more! All welcome.

Next Sunday:

10AM: “Phillip the evangelist” based on Acts 8:2-40. Abi Ngunga will be preaching. This service will include Communion.

6:30PM: Message 4: “Honour your father and mother”. Jonny Woods will be preaching.

Christian Summer Camp, Romania (15 places now covered): Thank you to everyone who has donated to this summer’s Christian camp in Romania. Fifteen young people will now be going from Mihai’s community in Calarasi –all children he knows and spends time with. Mihai sends a huge thank you that so many can go this year. If you still wish to support this outreach please contact Matthew Thornton ( or Allyson McGregor. Thank you!

The Community Hub Summer Fayre, Sat 23rd July: If anyone has ‘as new’/unused gifts or special items (last year a once used Christmas tree/ ‘old’ paintings- but not clothing nor bric-a-brac please) which they would like to donate, or if the bakers of the church would pledge to bake for the event (ingredient/heating costs refunded by a donor) it will be very gratefully received! All proceeds from the stall go direct to the Hub. Collection available. Thank you all! Allyson McGregor 

Prayers for the week:

Today: Give thanks for the privilege we have to worship the Lord openly and freely.

Monday: Pray for those who are persecuted for their faith, that they may continue to stand firm in the Lord.

Tuesday: Pray for our growth in the knowledge of God, i.e. that we might know God better.

Wednesday: Pray that we might bear fruit in every good work as we live out our Christian life, in our given communities.

Thursday:Pray that we might be strengthened so we display great endurance and patience when going through trials.

Friday: Pray for those who are exhausted from sorrow, anxieties or struggles, that may be comforted and restored.

Saturday: Pray for God to continue working through the ministry of BMS around the world.

To join in church services and prayer meetings by telephone: dial 0131 460 1196. When prompted for your Meeting ID, enter 726 034 6887 followed by the # key. You will be prompted for a Participant ID; just enter the # key again. When prompted for a password enter 777 followed by the # hash key. You will be connected to the meeting / service. (It is possible you will be given a different Meeting ID by the person arranging the meeting. If so, use the Meeting ID number you are given).

To join in online with video: Go to and follow the instructions given to join Zoom and download the APP(lication).

The morning service starts at 10:00AM, in-person and online; includes creche and Beacons Kids’ provision. The evening service starts at 6:30PM.
