PRAYER ITEMS FOR JANUARY:
Sunday: Give thanks to God for all His goodness to us throughout 2023.
Monday: Pray that the eyes of those who suffer spiritual blindness may be opened so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God.
Tuesday: Pray for God’s Word to dwell in us richly as we teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as we sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in our hearts to God.
Wednesday: Pray for those who preach, that God may open a door for their God-given message and that they proclaim the mystery of Christ not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction.
Thursday: Pray that each one of us in the church may not be wise in our own eyes, but that we may fear the Lord and shun evil.
Friday: Pray that each one of us in the church may trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding. Pray that in all our ways we may acknowledge Him.
Saturday: Pray that we may each be hungry for God’s Word and that we may each grow in and by it.
