Balnacarron Services: the home is currently closed to the public but once it reopens services will resume and take place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.

Our church vision focus for 2024 is ‘Growing in and by the word of God’. A further help that some may not be aware of is a series of weekly questions from the Sunday morning sermon. Some of the home groups use these in their gatherings. If you would find this a helpful resource for your personal study please contact Angus at and he will add your name to the list of recipients.

We have an opportunity this summer of partnering with Mihai in Romania and our friends at ISF (International Sports Federation) to help run a children’s multi-sport camp, with opportunities for bible teaching. We anticipate there being between 100-125 children from Calarasi. The dates are 22nd-30th June. No specific sporting skills are required just enthusiasm and a desire to introduce children to Jesus. If you are interested in helping, please contact Peter & Philippa Cook in person or via email.

Sunday: Give thanks to God for our 2024 church vision focus and pray that we may each continue to hunger for God’s Word, read it, meditate on it, apply it and grow in and by it.
Monday: Pray for the ministry of CU, giving thanks to God in particular for their recent outreach events. Pray for His continued gracious work in the lives of all those who have been exposed to the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Tuesday: Pray for the ministry of Young Life. Specifically for their new commissioned leaders and their meetings with the new kids at both Madras and St Leonard’s.
Wednesday: Pray for the ministry of K2. Pray for Bible Alive to be run in Newport and Castlehill Primary Schools. Pray for the teams running it, as well as the staff and pupils in those schools.
Thursday: Pray for the church ministry towards students (Awake, Postgrads and Young Adults, as well as the ministry run by In Hwa and Jae Ha).
Friday: Pray for the ministry towards young mums, especially the Mums Bible Study ministry starting this month.
Saturday: Pray for God’s sufficient grace to continue being upon those who are becoming frail among us, those facing health challenges, and for God’s consolation and strength for those who have been bereaved.
