//Balnacarron Services - not operating during pandemic for safety of residents however Pilgrim Care streams local church services and other local programming to St Andrews care homes and thecommunity hospital.

SABC is glad to have a great relationship with one of our local residential homes, Balnacarron Residential Home. For over 15 years now we have been holding services on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 3pm. Through singing some great old songs, reading from God's timeless Word and by applying it to the residents' lives, we long to point these senior friends to Christ.

//Dorcas Group - not operating during pandemic

This group meets once a month to make clothing and blankets to send on to Eastern European countries. These are collected a couple of times a year and distributed by Blythswood Care.

//Stitch and Blether - active.

Stich and Blether provides a social gathering for those who would like to chat and encourage each other and perhaps also take part in a creative craft style activity while doing so,   All are welcome.

//Pilgrim Care - operating observing social distancing and providing online content to care haomes.

We would like to acknowledge our affiliation with Pilgrim Care, a local Christian charity which provides Parish Nursing support to the elderly of St Andrews and which aims to set up a local, high quality, continuous care facility for the frail elderly, with an explicit Christian ethos and Christian senior staff and management. While we join Pilgrim Care in praying that this dream would come to fruition, we are grateful for the opportunities they have provided recently for training people in caring for the elderly and the nursing care being provided to elderly people giving them support to live healthier lives at home..
