Sunday Mornings

Morning Services - 10:30am (Madras College, Kilrymont Road)

On Sunday mornings you'll find us in the local Community School hall at Madras College (Kilrymont Road).

We have too many people to squeeze into our own building on South Street so we descend on Madras College at Kilrymont for our morning worship. The service starts at 10:30am but you're welcome to come along before then to say hi to folks who are gathering for worship and to get the kids signed up for our Children's Church activities.

The service finishes between 11:45 and 12:00 and afterwards we welcome you to have tea or coffee with the SABC family.

The service contains the kind of things you would expect to be important to a church family. We spend time singing songs of thanksgiving and praise to God, and we pray to him in order to prepare us for hearing God's Word read and hearing God's Word preached.

'What's on for kids?' we hear you ask? Well, there's a great creche run by some of the wonderful mum's and grannies that belong to our church family, and that runs for the duration of the service. Feel free to come in with your little bundle any time you like. For preschoolers, we run a fun class called 'BUBBLES' which takes themes and messages from the Bible and makes learning fun. Then there's 'SPLASH' for 5-8 year olds, working in the same way as bubbles but a bit more advanced in teaching and life application. For the 9-12 year olds, we've got 'XTREME', taking our kids to the next level in bible teaching. These classes begin after an initial time where all the family take part in our service. There's plenty free parking at the school.

Sunday Evenings

Evening Services - 6:30pm (South Street Building)

This service combines worship, prayer, bible reading and preaching. Communion takes place on the 2nd Sunday of each month at this service.

Refreshments are served after the service.

Parking on the street is free on Sunday but on holidays can be a little hard to find. Allow an extra five to ten minutes for that on evenings when the town may be busy.
